US drone strike kills 5 militants in Pak tribal belt

Peshawar: At least five militants were
killed Wednesday in a US drone strike in the restive Datta Khel area of Pakistan`s North Waziristan tribal region, a stronghold of al-Qaeda and Taliban militants near the Afghan
border.
The drone targeted a car with three missiles, security
officials said.
They said five militants were killed in the attack in the
Datta Khel area, 25 km west of the main North Waziristan town
of Miranshah, which has witnessed frequent strikes by US
drones in the past two-three years.
