Islamabad: Washington believes in a long-term collaboration with Islamabad, the US Ambassador to Pakistan, Cameron Munter, has said.
Munter made these comments while speaking to the media after attending a ceremony at the Australian High Commission in Islamabad, The Express Tribune reports.
He said that the United States is focussing on the outcome of Pakistan’s All Parties Conference (APC), and wants to resolve all issues with the country through dialogue.
On the occasion, Australian High Commissioner Timothy George said that his country wants durable relations with Islamabad, and will support Pakistan through thick and thin.
He said that the Australian government is working with Islamabad to overcome the floods crisis as well as to stabilise Pakistan’s economy.
