Zardari seeks enhanced defence coop with Kuwait

Zardari who is visiting Kuwait Monday sought enhanced defence
cooperation from the country through training and military
exchanges.

The President called for institutionalizing defence
cooperation through training, military exchanges and
cooperation between the defence industries, the APP reported.

Zardari and Amir of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad
Al-Jaber Al-Sabah vowed to further strengthen ties between
the two countries through enhanced trade cooperation and joint
ventures.

Zardari who arrived here this afternoon discussed
with Amir Sheikh Sabah the potential of cooperation
in diverse fields, for the mutual benefit of the two countries
and their people.

Zardari arrived on a two-day official visit here on
Friday to attend the country`s 50th independence day
celebrations.

He was received by Kuwait`s Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad
Al-Jaber Al-Sabah at the Kuwait International Airport.
