A woman spotted on Mars?

New Delhi: Is it a rock or a shadow? Such questions have been doing the rounds, orbiting around social media, after 'miniature Martian' was spotted in images of Mars beamed back to Earth from NASA's Curiosity Rover.

It is believed that the picture shows a tiny human-like creature apparently acting as a lookout after spotting the NASA robot.

According to website UFO Sightings Daily, the image's scale would make the 'being' only eight to ten cm tall and less than the size of a small coffee cup.

The extra-terrestrial life investigators have spotted many Earthly objects, carvings, beings and animals on the images sent by NASA's Curiosity Rover.

NASA has refused to comment on any of the alleged discoveries.
