New Delhi: NASA today released a set of 16 Forever postal stamps to honor planetary discoveries that contains colorful images of the planets of our solar system, according to NASA reports.
This stamp set- named 'Views of our Planets'- features iconic images of Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune, each shown twice.
The US space agency launched its laudable stamp set at World Stamp Show NY- 2016, an international gathering of stamp collectors that occurs only once each decade in the United States.
Beginning May 31, the main set will be widely available across the US physical post offices locations and for online purchase.
New “Pluto Explored” Forever stamps commemorating the July 2015 flyby of Pluto by NASA’s New Horizons spacecraft also are being issued for online purchase.
