Now, electric-hybrid "Copenhagen Wheel" that boosts pedaling power 10 fold

Washington: A new concept in commutation, the ' Copenhagen wheel' may be the next generation urban transportation.

Assaf Biderman, has reinvented the wheel of an ordinary bi cycle to do extraordinary powerful operations, which responds to pedaling and saves energy in the battery while going downhill and pushes further while going uphill, multiplying your power up to 10 times", CBS reported.

When a regular bike wheel is replaced with a Copenhagen Wheel, the bike works like an electric-hybrid car. A tiny computer tells the motor when to kick in. Plug the wheel into the wall to recharge it-or just ride.

The wheel can go as far as 30 miles at speeds of up to 20 miles per hour. A smartphone app is also installable to program the ride and Biderman sold several thousand wheels so far.
