New Delhi: Space and science fiction enthusiasts were treated to a live webcast of the interaction between real life astronauts and the cast of the new sci-fi film ‘Star Trek Into Darkness’ on Thursday.
The Google+ Hangout, hosted by NASA and Warner Bros, featured astronauts Chris Cassidy, from aboard the International Space Station, Michael Fincke and Kjell Lindgren of the Johnson Space Centre, screenwriter and producer Damon Lindelof, and actors Chris Pine, Alice Eve and John Cho.
The guests, apart from interacting with each other, fielded questions from social media followers as well.
Incidentally, astronaut Michael Fincke appeared in the series finale of ‘Star Trek: Enterprise’ in 2005.
