Activist SP Udaykumar joins Aam Aadmi Party

Activist SP Udaykumar, who has been protesting against nuclear plant Kudankulam, joined Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) in Tamil Nadu on Friday.

New Delhi: Activist SP Udaykumar, who has been protesting against nuclear plant Kudankulam, joined Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) in Tamil Nadu on Friday.

Convener of People`s Movement Against Nuclear Energy (PMANE), Udaykumar led the movement against the Kudankulam nuclear plant.
Apart from Udaykumar, other prominent anti-nuclear activists including MP Jesurajan and Peter Milton also joined the party.

The anti-nuclear activist is the latest entrant in the party, which will be contesting Lok Sabha polls this year.
The party is yet to issue a statement and state as to which seat the anti-nuclear activist will contest from.
