Chennai: Five persons from Kerala were
killed when the car they were travelling in collided with a tipper lorry near Hosur, about 300 km from here Wednesday, police
said.
The car driver was among those killed.
The tipper lorry, travelling from Hosur to Krisyhnagiri,
rammed the central median at Soolagiri bypass road and veered
onto the path of the car on the other side after the driver
lost control of his vehicle, R V Ramya Bharathi, Assistant
Superintendent of Police (Hosur) said.
The tipper lorry driver fled the spot immediately after the
accident, she said.
