Salem: A local court today sentenced six persons to life in the case relating to the murder of a history-sheeter six years ago.
According to prosecution, nine persons had tied Muthu (27) to a post and beat him to death on February 19, 2007.
During the trial, three accused died.
Pronouncing the judgment, District Sessions Court judge Nassema Bhanu also imposed a fine of Rs 7000 on the convicted.
