Chennai: Chief Minister Jayalalithaa on Sunday
ordered filling up the post of principals in 69 government
colleges, lying vacant, across the state.
Since June 2010, principal posts were being occupied only
by principals-in-charge in 48 government colleges, an official
release said.
The order was passed after a meeting the Chief Minister had
with the Higher Education Minister and Chief Secretary on June
17, it said.
