Two held for boarding flight with fake tickets

Two persons who tried to board a Singapore-bound Air India express flight allegedly on fake tickets were arrested at the airport here Friday.

Chennai: Two persons who tried to board a Singapore-bound Air India express flight allegedly on fake tickets were arrested at the airport here Friday.

They were arrested following a complaint by Air India Express officials who found their ticket to be fake, airport sources said.
The two were handed over to police where they told the
officials that the tickets had been faxed from Singapore by a
travel agency, sources added.
They were intending to fly to Singapore to work as daily
wage labourers, they said.
