Hyderabad: Telangana anti-corruption bureau (ACB), which is probing the cash-for-vote case involving TDP MLA A Revanth Reddy, has issued a fresh notice to another legislator of the party, Sandra Venkata Veeraiah, seeking his appearance.

Veeraiah, a TDP MLA, has been asked to appear before the ACB officials here on July 6 for questioning with regard to the cash-for-vote case.

Veeraiah told reporters in Khammam today that he would appear before ACB on Monday and cooperate with the probe.

The ACB had served him a notice earlier too. But on June 19 Veeraiah, who represents Sattupally constituency in Khammam district, wrote to the agency saying he could not appear because of illness, and sought 10 days' time.

On May 31, Revanth Reddy and two others were arrested by ACB while allegedly paying a bribe of Rs 50 lakh to Elvis Stephenson, a nominated MLA, for supporting the TDP nominee Vem Narendar Reddy in the next day's legislative council election. They got bail from the High Court last month.
