Karimnagar: Telangana's Finance Minister Etela Rajender met with an accident on Saturday after his vehicle overturned hitting a divider at Edula Gattepalli village near Karimnagar.
According to a police official, the mishap took place when the Finance Minister was returning to Karimnagar from Huzurabad.
Rajender, who sustained injuries on his right leg, was earlier taken to a private hospital in Karimnagar. As per latest reports, he has been shifted to Hyderabad for further treatment.
A case has been registered.
