BJP workers led by their mayoral candidate Teluram Kamboj held a protest outside the counting centre.
BJP claimed that only SP-backed mayoral candidate Sudhan Kumar Rawat was allowed inside the counting centre.

District BJP media in-charge, S P Singh said the details of the first three rounds of counting were not shown to the party candidate.
"There have been several irregularities in the counting process, therefore we have raised the demand for recounting of votes," he added.
