Bodies of couple, their son found hanging in house

Lucknow: Decomposed bodies of a couple
and their son were recovered from a house in Jankipuram area,
police said here on Tuesday.

Bodies of Sunil Kumar Varma (37), his wife Kundan (35)
and their son Rahul (7) were recovered hanging from the
ceiling of their house in sector H Jankipuram yesterday, they
said.

Prima facie it seems that the trio had committed
suicide as the house was locked from inside, police said.
"It seems that the family took the extreme step due to
financial crisis," they added.

Sunil and Kundan, who married against the wishes of
their families, were living in the rented house from the last
three years.

The incident came into light when some locals found
foul smell emanating from the house and informed the police.
