BSP worker shot dead

Lucknow: A BSP worker was shot dead by unidentified miscreants at Maal area on the outskirts of the city, police said on Tuesday.
The incident occurred yesterday in Bardai Bazar where 28-year-old Sitaram Gupta alias Ajay was called by some people for a meeting, they said.
He sustained serious injuries and was rushed to the hospital where he was declared brought dead, the police said, adding, investigation is on to ascertain the motive behind the murder.
