Lucknow: The CBI has arrested two tainted lawyers during ongoing probe against them on the directives of the Lucknow bench of the Allahabad High Court, official sources said Thursday.
Parashuram Mishra and Mirza Tausif Baig were arrested by the CBI from Delhi yesterday for their alleged involvement in vandalism and ruckus inside the court premises, they said.

The court had last year directed the CBI to initiate proceedings against the lawyers after which the agency launched a probe into 11 cases.

Mishra and Baig are accused in two separate cases of the 11 cases being probed by the CBI, they said.
In March 2008, Mishra and his associates allegedly vandalised room of a judicial magistrate and indulged into violence, they said.

Similarly, Baig along with another lawyer allegedly assaulted a counsel inside the court premises, they said.
