Lucknow: Cold conditions prevailed at isolated places in Uttar Pradesh with Orai recording the lowest temperature at 6 degrees Celsius.
MeT office here said that night temperature appreciably rose in Bareilly, Meerut divisions, rose in Moradabad division, fell in Allahabad division and changed a little in the remaining divisions of the state.
They were appreciably above normal in Meerut, above normal in Faizabad and were normal in the remaining divisions of the state.
Lowest minimum temperature was 6 degrees Celsius recorded at Orai in east UP.
MeT officials forecast that weather would be mainly dry over the state and dense to moderate fog would occur at many places.
Rain/ thundershowers would also occur at isolated places over west UP, they added.
