Congress to give tickets to those with base among people: Rahul

Hamirpur (UP): Congress would not give
tickets to those who do not have a base among the people of a
particular area, AICC General Secretary Rahul Gandhi on Friday
said here.
"The party will not give tickets to those who have no
base in their respective areas," he said, addressing Youth
Congress workers.

Gandhi, who is on a two-day visit to Bundelkhand region,
urged the youth to participate in politics, saying they could
change the political scenario with their enthusiasm.
During the hour-long interaction with the youth, he asked
them to reach out to the grassroot level and propagate welfare
schemes of the UPA government by making people aware of them.

Later, Rahul left for Orai by road.
