Denied liquor, youth kills father in Ghaziabad

Ghaziabad: Furious over his father for
preventing him from consuming liquor, a youth allegedly shot
him dead near here, police said today.

The incident happened at Loni town yesterday when the
youth, in his early 20s, allegedly opened fire from a country
made pistol at his 45-year-old father after he denied his him
liquor, SP A K Vijeta said.

The man died on the spot, he said, adding that the son
later surrendered himself to Loni police station along with
the murder weapon.
