Hathras (UP): Police on Monday claimed to have unearthed a factory in the city were fake gutka bearing the names of a popular brand were being manufactured and arrested two persons in connection with it.
Acting on a tip-off, the police raided a house in Sri Nagar Nai Basti yesterday and arrested two persons for manufacturing fake gutka.
They also recovered equipment used for manufacturing gutka, huge quantities of the fake product and duplicate pouches of the popular brands from the house.
The arrested were supplying fake gutka outside the state, they added.
