Four more cold deaths in UP

Four more persons died in various parts of Uttar Pradesh due to extreme cold conditions as mercury dipped sharply, taking the death toll this winter in the state to 62.

the state to 62.

While two persons died in Mathura, one each died in
Bareilly and Barabanki districts, official sources said here.

Lucknow, which was engulfed in a heavy fog cover for
most part of the day, recorded a minimum temperature of 4
degree Celsius. It was three degree below normal and maximum
temperature was recorded at 14.6 deg C, eight notches below
normal.

Churk, which recorded a minimum temperature of 1.4
deg C was the coldest place in the state.
