Four of a family killed, revenge suspected in UP

Four members of a family have been killed after a group of about dozen people fired indiscriminately at them while they were riding an auto- rickshaw between Bishambhra and Mehrauli village, police said on Sunday.

Mathura: Four members of a family have been killed after a group of about dozen people fired indiscriminately at them while they were riding an auto- rickshaw between Bishambhra and Mehrauli village, police said on Sunday.

The victims have been identified as Micchu, Mubin, Aziz, and Mausa who died on the spot while Bhulla is fighting for his life in a hospital, they said.
The incident happened late yesterday evening and revenge is being suspected as a motive.

Efforts are on to nab eleven culprits named in the FIR an we are expecting to arrest them shortly, SSP Akhilesh Kumar Meena said.
The incident is suspected to be a revenge for murder of Khurshid and Hakmu that took place in August in 2012. Sons of Khurshid and Hakmu have also been named in the FIR in the incident, police said.
