Husband murders wife in Muzaffarnagar

Muzaffarnagar: A husband allegedly
murdered his wife at Kabaraut village by slitting her
throat after she opposed his illicit relationship, police
said.

A case registered yesterday against Virendra and his
family, they said.

35-year-old Amresh was not living with Virendra for
some time. She came back to her in-laws house after Virendra
requested her to return.

Yesterday, the couple had a heated argument over some
issue after which Virendra murdered her by slitting her
throat, police said.

While police has arrested Leela Devi, the
mother-in-law of the victim, her husband, father-in-law and
brother-in-law are absconding, they said, adding efforts are
on to nab them.
