Muzaffarnagar: A local court here has sentenced a man to ten years of rigorous imprisonment (RI) for raping a minor girl.
Additional Sessions Judge N K Shukla yesterday convicted Pappu Qureshi and also imposed a fine of Rs 10,000 on him for raping the 11-year-old girl two years ago.
The girl was raped by the accused when she was alone in her house at Kandhla town in the district on September 7, 2009, prosecution sources said.
