Mayawati slur: Dayashankar's daughter in trauma after BSP workers abuse her

Lucknow: Swati Singh, the wife of expelled BJP functionary Dayashankar Singh, has accused the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) of threatening and abusing her and her children.

A former lecturer at Lucknow University, Swati has gone into hiding fearing attacks by BSP workers.

She alleged that BSP men are calling me and my daughter and are abusing us. “My daughter is a minor and she is being mentally harassed, she is in trauma after she heard the nasty words inflicted on her,” she said.

"What crime has my daughter committed that BSP workers are abusing her...If the same words can hurt Mayawatiji, why will they not hurt us, particularly my daughter," said Swati.

She added that Mayawati should be held responsible if something happens to her or her minor daughter and son.

"FIR must be lodged against all those who spoke against me, my daughter. A case must be registered for mentally harrassing my daughter," she said.

Swati said her daughter will have to be hospitalised if her condition deteriorates further.
