Minor gang-raped in Uttar Pradesh

Sitapur: A 14-year-old girl was allegedly gang-raped by two of her neighbours here, police said Tuesday.

The minor girl, who hails from Ramkot locality had gone to visit the doctor last evening where she met her neighbours Raju and Tara, police said.

While returning home with them, the duo took her under Kaichi bridge here and raped her, police said adding the accused fled from the spot leaving the girl in an unconscious state.

Later, the girl was admitted to hospital and medical examination would soon be conducted, they said.

A case has been registered against both the accused and search is on to nab them, police said.
