Minor raped, threatened of dire consequences

An FIR has been registered against the accused of the same village for the assault on the minor.

Ballia: A 12-year old girl was allegedly raped by a man in Chhodhar village of the district, police said.

An FIR has been registered against one Mahesh of the same village for the assault on the minor on May 17, they said, adding that a probe is on.
The accused had also threatened the victim of dire consequences, they said.
