Lucknow: Prime Minister Manmohan Singh
and Congress general secretary Rahul Gandhi is scheduled to
address a rally in Bundelkhand region on April 30.
"Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and Rahul Gandhi will
address a rally in Bundelkhand on April 30 in which they will
inform about the package announced for the region by the
Centre," AICC general secretary Digvijay Singh told reporters
here today.
He said that before Bundelkhand rally, a meeting would
be organised at Basti district in Uttar Pradesh on April 24.
In a reply to a question regarding party`s
preparedness for Uttar Pradesh state Assembly elections due
next year, Singh said that candidates would be announced by
next month.
"The party will announce names of maximum candidates
by May 31," he said.
