Revolver found in school bag of 10th class student

Ghaziabad: A loaded revolver was found from
the school bag of a class 10 student in Uttar Pradesh`s
Panchsheel Nagar district, police said here on Wednesday.

"Teacher Brij Pal yesterday searched the boy`s school bag
following a complaint by his classmate and found the weapon,"
Kehar Singh, principal of RKS inter-college, said.

The revolver, issued on the name of the student`s father,
was seized, police said.

The boy was caught and produced before the principal at
his office, however, he jumped out of a window and escaped,
they said.

A complaint has been registered in this regard, Singh
said, adding that the student will be rusticated from the
college.
