Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Public Works Department Minister Shivpal Singh Yadav on Friday conducted a surprise inspection of a road in front of Rajbhawan and after finding potholes in it ordered an inquiry by the technical audit cell (TAC).
Yadav, interacting with reporters after the inspection said that he has ordered a TAC probe into the work done and strict action would be initiated against those found responsible.
He also said that in a bid to improve the condition of roads in the state, he would order an inquiry into the poor work done and ensure strict action against guilty officers.
"We will ensure pothole free roads in the days to come", he said.
