Six women drown in UP

Mau: Six women on Friday drowned when the boat in which they were crossing the river capsized, police said.
The incident occurred in Ranbirpur village in Sarai Lakahansi police circle when the boat carrying 14 persons capsized in the Tamsa river, they said.

While others swimmed to safety, six women drowned.

The bodies of five of them were fished out from the river, while the search is on to trace the remaining one.
