Three aides of Dawood Ibrahim arrested

Lucknow: Three alleged aides of underworld gangster Dawood Ibrahim were arrested from Jhandewala park area here, police said on Wednesday.
Harun Ullah of Basti, Javed Ali and Kaleem, both from Pratapgarh, were arrested last night when they were allegedly trying to loot a jewellery shop in Aminabad area to purchase arms, police said.
During interrogation, the trio revealed that they were directed by Dawood`s brother Anis to kill a builder in Mumbai and for this they wanted money to purchase fire arms. Harun, was earlier arrested in Mumbai in a loot case in 2004, while Javed had been a rape and murder accused in 2002 in Pratapgarh, police said, adding that they were trying to trace their criminal history.
