Ballia: Three persons were killed and eight others injured when a jeep overturned and fell into a ditch here in the district, police said Thursday.
The incident took place near Chand Deyar village yesterday when one of the wheels of the passenger jeep detached and it overturned, police said.
The driver and a woman were among those killed, they said, adding, the injured have been admitted to a nearby hospital and their condition is stated to be serious.
