Two cops injured in attack by suspected robbers in UP

Two policemen were injured when three suspected robbers attacked them near Ratheri bypass here while being were taken to a police station.

Muzaffarnagar: Two policemen were injured when three suspected robbers attacked them near Ratheri bypass here while being were taken to a police station.
Sub inspector Kuldeep Singh and constable Deepak Kumar were seriously injured when the accused attacked them after they were arrested on Delhi-Dehradun national highway near Ratheri by pass here yesterday, police said.

The arrested persons have been identified as Sonu, Ropesh and Manoj Kumar. They attacked the two policemen in the van on their way to the police station, they said.

Police is interrogating the three accused.
