Two detained under NSA for cow slaughtering

Muzaffarnagar: Two persons, arrested for allegedly slaugtering cows, have been detained under stringent National Security Act by the district authorities here Tuesday.

Wahid Qureshi and Sajid were arrested for slaughtering cows in Fugana police station area in the district on April 19, 2010, District Magistrate Santosh Kumar Yadav said.
The accused, who are in jail since their arrest, have been apprehended for sensitive law and order situation in the area.
