Two teachers suspended in UP after found missing on election duty

A headmaster and teacher of two different government schools were suspended for allegedly not attending panchayat election duty here, official said on Friday.

Muzaffarnagar: A headmaster and teacher of two different government schools were suspended for allegedly not attending panchayat election duty here, official said on Friday.

Headmaster S K Balyan of a government school based in Mahabhart village and another teacher Rohit Kaushik of a different institution were suspended for not attending panchayat duty in the district yesterday, official said.

The district's Basic Shiksha Adhikari K K Singh said here today here that these two teachers have been suspended following complaint for not attending duty.

Suspended headmaster is also the district secretary of teacher association.
