Lucknow: With a view to redress grievances of farmers, the Uttar Pradesh government has decided to constitute a special commission for them.
The announcement in this regard was made by Agriculture Minister Anand Singh on Tuesday while directing officers to prepare a plan in this regard.
Claiming that state government will give special attention to bio-agriculture, the minister said an action plan in this regard was being prepared and officials have been directed in this regard.
About the commission, the minister said that it would redress grievances of farmers besides looking into the problems being faced by them due to bad weather and other such conditions.
