Lucknow: In a shocking incident, a young girl and her male friend were recently beaten up by six men for over ten minutes in Hathras in Uttar Pradesh.
The entire incident was recorded by one of the attackers on his mobile phone and circulated on WhatsApp. The shocking incident took place on March 13.
According to the girl, she, along with her male companion, were in a market place when they were forced by the gang of six men to move to an isolated area.
After reaching an isolated placem all the six men started abusing both of them.
The girl said, "They abused and beat us repeatedly. I begged them to leave us, but they continued to misbehave and called me names". The girl further recounted that after they were thrashed, the bikers abandoned them and left for town.
Reports say that the attackers are from the same village as the girl and one of the youth was reportedly in love with the girl.
The police have nabbed all six assailants.
