Woman kills self, three children in UP

Lucknow: A woman set herself and her three kids on fire in Uttar Pradesh`s Jaunpur district Friday. All the four later died of their burns, police said.

Sushila Devi, 30, a resident of Janewara village, set herself afire along with her five-year-old daughter and two twin sons aged two, in her house.
"The reason is yet to be ascertained. Preliminary investigations indicate the woman was not well for the last few weeks," police inspector Anirudh Singh told reporters in Jaunpur, some 250 km from here.
Sushila Devi`s husband Surendra, a labourer, was not in the house at the time of the incident.
