Alva expresses grief over loss of lives in Leh cloudburst

Dehradun: Uttarakhand Governor Margaret
Alva on Saturday expressed grief over the loss of lives in the Leh
cloudburst.

"I hope the relatives of the victims are blessed with
the strength to bear the pain from natural calamity," Alva
told PTI.

With the recovery of more bodies, the toll in the
cloudburst today climbed to 130 even as 600 more are feared
washed away in the calamity that was followed by torrential
rains and flash floods devastating this Himalayan town in
Ladakh region.
