'Green Gang' from Varanasi fights drug, liquor abuse

Varanasi: Motivated by a handful of enterprising students, a band of women in green-`Green Group'-has emerged in a nondescript village in the parliamentary constituency of PM Narendra Modi with a commitment to make free it of drug and liquor menace. The women of Khusiyari village also exhort people to give up the use of polythene and make the village clean and beautiful through `shram daan' (voluntary labour).
