Kolkata: A day after West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee dared the Centre to impose central rule in the state, Congress on Tuesday said it did not raise a demand for promulgation of Article 356 every now and then.

"She (Banerjee) can say that but we don`t demand promulgation of Article 356 every now and then," WBPCC president Pradip Bhattacharya told reporters here.

"When we will raise this demand, we will raise it with justification and we will get it implemented," he said.
Training her guns on the Centre, Banerjee had yesterday dared it to impose central rule in the state and accused it of disturbing her government and party by issuing threats of engaging CBI against it.
