Kolkata: "I am scared to enter the Assembly after yesterday`s violence," said ruling Trinamool Congress MLA Sikha Mitra, wife of party MP Somen Mitra, who was recently embroiled in a controversy for speaking out against the leadership.
"The violence is condemnable whoever is involved in it. I was not in the House yesterday. I have no idea who sparked off the violence," Sikha Mitra told reporters.
Mitra said "Those who sent MLAs as their representatives, will think otherwise now," she said.
Sikha Mitra was in focus recently after she openly criticised the Trinamool Congress leadership and earned the wrath of the party for attending a function presided over by PCC president Pradip Bhattacharya.
