Purulia: Police have recovered arms manufacturing products from an illegal factory in West Bengal`s Purulia district.

Police seized huge cache of arms-making material and machines after they raided a factory on a tip-off.

"We arrested six people when we raided the factory. We recovered few semi-made parts and few parts of arms," said Superintendent of Police, Purulia, Rupesh Kumar.

Factory owner Haradhan Gorai said since 2011 a tenant with the name of Hamid Ansary from eastern state of Jharkhand had taken the factory on rent. Without having any legal provision, he was running the arms manufacturing unit at the factory.
