West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Monday said a conspiracy was being hatched to disrupt harmony in the state and asked people not to tolerate those trying to create differences.

"The administration is with you. I ask common people that if you see injustice happening, you should protest. Do not tolerate those who are trying to create division among people," she said at a function in the state secretariat here.

The Chief Minister said those who divided people on religious lines would divide families and neighborhood one day.

Without naming anyone, the Trinamool supremo said a conspiracy was being hatched by those who did not want the state to feel proud in the international market.

She also asked people not to respond to any provocation ahead of Kali Puja.

"There are some people who want to create trouble...They know only destruction and not creation. They do not want life, only death," Banerjee said.

In the meantime to augment the fire fighting capability of the state, the CM flagged off 50 new water tenders.

Equipped with the latest technology, the tenders have been procured at a total cost of Rs 13.2 crore.

In the last two years, a total of 22 tenders has been procured through e-tendering process adding to the existing fleet of 674 fire fighting vehicles.
