Kolkata: Slamming the Trinamool Congress regime for "ruining" the future of the state, Left Front Chairman Biman Bose on Tuesday said the fourth anniversary of the TMC regime represented lawlessness in West Bengal.

"These four years have been the darkest chapter in the history of Bengal, which has only pushed the state backwards. They have ruined the future of the state. The four years represents lawlessness in the state," Bose said.

He was responding to reporters who asked for his reaction on celebration since tomorrow to mark the TMC government's four years in power.

Bose also took a dig at the state government holding various industrial meets in the state.

"It is such a government which is only interested in holding industrial meets, but not a single industry has come up in the state in the last four years," Bose told reporters on the sidelines of a programme organised by All India Peace & Solidarity Organization.
