Howrah: A youth was beaten up at Bagnan in Howrah district on Friday when he protested the eve teasing of his sister by some men, police sources said.
Uttam Doloi and his sister were passing by when the men started commenting on her, the sources said, adding that he was thrashed by them after he protested.
Doloi has been admitted to Bagnan hospital and a police complaint filed by his family in the case.
