Anne Sinclair ‘doing well’ without Strauss-Kahn

Anne Sinclair, the wife of shamed former International Monetary Fund chief Dominique Strauss-Kahn, has finally confirmed that the two have separated.

London: Anne Sinclair, the wife of shamed former International Monetary Fund (IMF) chief Dominique Strauss-Kahn, has finally confirmed that the two have separated.

Sinclair had always supported her husband through months of public scrutiny after he was accused in New York last year of trying to rape a hotel maid.

The famous French TV journalist has now admitted during an interview that she is doing well without her disgraced husband.

“I`m working hard again ... I`m doing very well, thank you,” Sinclair told the Le Parisien newspaper when asked how she`s been doing since the split.

According to the Daily Mail, after months of standing by Strauss-Kahn, paying over GBP one million in bail on his behalf, she had appeared to have finally had enough.

In June, Sinclair kicked out Strauss-Kahn, the self-confessed sex addict and serial adulterer, from their GBP 5 million Paris home.

Their 20-year marriage had been under pressure as Strauss-Kahn, once tipped as a future French president, became depressed at his lack of career options.

According to France’s Closer magazine, while Strauss-Kahn sat at home all day ``feeling miserable``, Sinclair was busy working as editor of the French edition of the Huffington Post.
